A boat-shaped bread filled with a rich blend of melted cheeses and topped with a runny egg yolk.

Ingredients

Dairy & Eggs

  • 250gmozzarella (shredded)
  • 150gfeta (crumbled)
  • 4eggs (large)
  • 30gbutter (unsalted)

Pasta, Rice & Co

  • 500gflour (all-purpose)
  • 7gyeast (dry)

Instructions

    Mix the flour with yeast and warm water to form a smooth dough and let it rise for 60 minutes at 25°C.

    Mix the mozzarella with the feta.

  3. 3

    Shape the dough into four boats and fill them with the cheese mixture.

  4. 4

    Bake the Khachapuri in the oven at 220°C for 15 minutes until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Crack an egg into the center of each boat and bake for another 3 minutes until the egg white is set.

  6. 6

    Add a piece of butter on top of the cheese before serving.
